WORLD, AMERICA, USA — In October of 2012, the Sim Auto Racing Association,(SARA), launched with a single Street Stock division with a schedule that was made up of the five free iRacing short tracks. A late-model division was added in the Spring of 2013, and this is where the SARA really took its shape as a true grassroots short track league. The league has continued to grow and has added many divisions over the past few years including everything from Legends to Trucks, and anything in between.

Under the direction of Matt Rolfe, the league has become one of iRacing’s top short track leagues with the current division structure of Street Stocks, SK Modifieds, Pro Late Models, and Super Late Models. Many of iRacing’s top short track drivers have competed weekly under the SARA banner which makes this league one of the toughest on the iRacing service.

On Tuesday night, the Sprint Series took on Lakeland’s USA International Speedway for double features as the Winged Sprints joined the Non-Wing series for Twin 35-lap races in the Lakeland Clash.

Non-Wing Race Winner – In the Non-Wing feature, David Krikorian was inverted to the pole and led the opening 12 laps of the race. Meanwhile, Dave Bodio was working his way back up through the pack after being inverted back and was up to third behind Krikorian and Robinson. As the topSee More
